Pioneer AVH-P5700DVD

Featured Replies

Bit stuck with this one. New headunit arrived today, supposed to play DVD's, CD's, Mp3 discs, VCD's the lot basically.

Everything seems to work fine bar the fact it refuses to play any disc I put in it. Comes up with error code 02, which apparantly means a dirty disc. So I tried a brand new CD in it and got the same.

Anybody got any ideas?

Where did you rewire to? Stuck mine on the constant live on the back of the HU. I though it dould have been that, but it does it with audio CD's as well

Re-wire it to an earth.

That solved that one!

Still won't read discs though. Faulty laser?

Laser sounds like the next option. Are the Cd's your trying to play genuine iE not copied aswell?
