We broke 4 bars the first time we undid Geoffrey's ds nuts. Got them undone in the end though with a massive breaker bar from my Dad's tyre place :-D

replace with new nuts personally as they are crimped locking nuts and the dont need to be as tight as people think

You need

1. Draper 30mm Expert socket.
2. Telescopic wheel nut wrench 1/2 inch square drive a mere 22 inches long.
3. Ramp.
4. Flat piece of wood 1/2 inch thick

Place the socket on the hub nut by hand twisting to find a point where despite rounding several of the sockets 24 edges are touching.

Place the ramp so a metal edge is 1/2inch below centre of socket.

Fit wrench in socket and insert flat piece of wood between ramp and wrench so it can only rotate.

Stand on the ramp. Step on the wrench. Hands on the roof. Bounce up and down on the wrench. Swear twice.
