High pitched noise when i accelerate...

Hi people my car makes a really high pitched noise like what you normally hear buses/taxis make when they brake.... problem is my car makes the noise when i accelarate and its coming from the rear wheels, maybe its the brakes? lol..... any ideas as to what it could be?

Ill find out in the morning... bit late to rev the car! lol.. how much do wheel bearings cost to replace?? and what the hell are they? i know, I'm useless lol..

one more question, I'm getting lowering springs and shocks this week and am wondering is it possible for them to seize up at all...I've heard of it happening to coilovers but not sure about the springs and shocks.... any help please..

wheel bearing?

yer i would also say wheel bearing, i swopped both bearings in like and hour and its fine now mate it was my first time swopping them too i would do it just to be on the safe side :wink: and sorry i cant help with price mine were free from a friend :paranoid:

full kit with bearings, locking plate, axle nut, locking pin etc was 8.99 a side from motor factors.
