bumpstrip issues

Featured Replies

so decided i was gonna debadge my 6n and all went well and have to say I'm impressed with the results. So impressed i moved onto the side strips straight away! maybe i underestimated the job slightly as i took one of the smaller bumpstrips off the side i was left with alot of glue and, even worse, faded paint!! I'm a car noob so i started bricking it like "have i made a massive mistake" so now I'm left minus a bumpstrip with some glue left and faded paintwork, of which some had chipped away (shiiit) so my question to you guys is, how do i get rid of the last glue bits and how do i repair the paint chips and the faded dark blue paint or am i gonna have to go to a bodywork specialist?

cheers guys.

remove the glue the same way you removed the rear badge glue or use the search facility to find out ALOT more ways and as for the paint get a touch up kit from halfords and t-cut to remove some of the fadeing other than that you will have to get it buffed or resprayed
