Does any one know what is wrong and how to fix?

When i lock my 99 1.6L Polo all the lights on the exterior start flashing. In the last week it happended twice and it ran the battery dead and it needed to be jump started.

Please help.

mine did that i dissconnected the battery and left it a while...then reconnected it (hopefully reseting the system)....if uve got the little rectangular alarm fob thingy...i always use the button on the left...never on the right...i dunno what it dus apart from set the flashy lights on...if ure using that button, that might be why ure lights flash. hope this helps I'm not very good at typing out advise!
