Does any one know where to get these from? I know its a long shot but i know you can get them, they're mentioned in the owners manual and I've seen photos of cars from europe with them. If anyone knows where to get them or point me in the right direction that would be mint.

Never seen them, but they probably wouldn't be hard to fabricate. Fiat Panda ones would be a good start at a guess, as they're about as uncurvy as a mk1.

Panda windows are pure flat,but adaption could be the answer - if you've a craft hand. I think there's still a 1970 Triumph Toledo and Rover P6 in a breakers nearish me,but they too had pure flat sides. Chances are you'd have to use your glass,anyway.

Classic breakers will be the prime suspects if you can first find a suitable model. Otherwise,ebay - europe.

You'd better check with insurance first though - these windows made breaking into the car far too easy.

How disimilar are our fixed 1/4 windows to say opening ones for say a mk1 Golf?

P.S; not too keen on that Derby in your picture - he's kinda gone too far with all the tacky chrome trim/chequer plate etc - the opening windows would be uber-pimp on your car though...

Might have seen it about - 1976 Mk1 golf g40 in pea green.

I was wondering about modified mk1 ones, a bit too expensive to mess with tho.

Yeah I'm not keen on the blue derby, its the only 1 I've seen with the opening 1/4 windows

german ebay ??? Seem to be thousands of parts on there compared to sod all on ours.
