the front lower ones are the best for improving handling, although i would say the front upper would make a bit of difference given the mk3s slightly floppy chassis legs! there are two lower ones to choose from, one that fits betweein the two lower tcas and the other which runs adj. to the anti-roll bar. one thing to note though is that the one which fits between the tcas tends to scrub a lot on lowered cars

I see them on Egay now and then, but never very often, and i want one....

Was thinking of making my own if i cant find one soon. :(

wiechers make them, got mine off fleabay and theres not much left of it now as its mostly deposited on the roads around oxfordshire!

I made my rear strut brace!

Dunno if it works but it looks quite good, got a ire extinguisher to go on it hehe!

Tyre well needs to come out desperatly....

i made my own front lower strutbrace (running alongside the ARB), out of an old rear strutbrace that did fack all. Dead easy job and seamed to make the car feel much tighter around corners.

front lower makes all the difference !

Front upper is pointless,as 99 percent of flew is in the rubber bushes. They're used in motorspost because those cars use solid top mounts.

Upper bar useless on the back because there's no sideways flex - the shocks are remotely attached,all twist goes into the rear beam (there is floor twist,but you'll need a roll cage to reduce this).

Front tca is well worth it,but all those sold hang too low. Raising the engine a fraction and modifying the gearbox mount gives that extra clearance you need to keep one high enough to avoid having your suspension mounts torn out by some rough road surface.

Front brace is said to work on facelift models,but a horizontal bar alone wont do as much as one that has a X brace effect,and so would be shaped like this >---<
