Nah the new one, it only arrived from the printers last week so I'm not sure it's in the shops yet (probably is tho). Has a sparkly red cover.

I wasn't sure when he first did that super hardcore bad boy bonnet thing but when I saw it for real it looked awesome. Looked good last year, just needed a bit touch up.

it belongs to the girl who runs the devon dubs site seen it around plymouth loads plus at meets ect and she has never tried to take credit for building it

Just had a flick through at the newsagents, its a double feature, with this guy with a mrk 4 Golf all smoothed off and his bird has Ross`s old Polo, his carlooks exactly the same as when he had it.

the feature also says jen/john rendle mk3 polo + golf 16v turbo which arent true either.

I was there when they took the pics maxpower didnt even really ask any questions about the cars and that

I know at least 4 folk who've had magazine features and the writers just make up shit to make the feature more interesting!

They ask qustions but then twist the answers or just make up their own answers. Also parts always cost more and always deliver their max "claimed" hp gains. You know, the good old 45 extra bhp from the air filter and exhaust mod thats so popular :)

they said the golf was 190 its 230 lol

If Max Power were standing there taking pictures to feature something I owned then I'd tell them to bugger off and leave my car alone. I'd rather sit on a wet brillo pad with my eyes than be featured in Max Power.

I was on holiday 2 weeks ago when i found out by ear that its been in max power....not seen it myself but if she has taken credit for it thats fair enough as it is not really my car anymore as it was sold over 6 months ago now....

I do miss it but glad its gone to a good home...

Max Power sucks............. my mate had is MK3 VR6 in it years ago (early/mid 90's). Max'd out ICE install, butterscotch leather retrim, etc etc etc. They did the interview and when we read it most of it was made up. He never said 1/2 of what they wrote.

So, its not worth losing sleep over. Those that did the work know and those who know who did the work won't believe what they read anyway.
