Mk4 Polo Suspension Options

Featured Replies

Well I've been driving birds round and its on coilovers, and the ride is shocking, the springs are quite tight and it feels every bump like there is no shock in it, so i have lowered them, its sits nice, but now it is a little bouncy, you hit a bump and you kind of bounce all over place, the fronts i think are ok, but the rears just dont do any shock absorbing...

has anyone got a kit fitted, and it not be such a unpleasant ride?

i think this kit is a phil j one lol

could the shocks be gone, or what other kits are available?

Funny, i heard that the PhilJ sets were pretty comfy for coilies... What about a set of adjustable damping ones? Expensive but it sounds like thats what you need...

You're in the same boat as me, bloody shitty Kirklees roads!

Stupid as it sounds I dont know what coilies I have on my car and they are extremely bouncy, but I'm not going to complain coz whenever a bird is in the car all you see is bouncing boobs.

My ex gf loves it and even name it "booby bouncing car" but it does get quite offputting sometimes and she has said it makes them hurt!! :D:D:D

>>>> exact reason above that bird complains, it is hilarious to watch tho, and mildly arousing...

i wouldnt mind seeing what everyone else has and how they feel

suspension not titties

And titties if you have them!! ;)

I'll have a look when i get home n let you know mate

FK Highsports on my Lupo are mint. Good compromise between comfortable and giving good handling. I would go for the Silverline ones though, so they don't seize.
