Saw a thread on the VWVortex for someone selling 'Wellers' in 13X7 & 13X8 but they don't look like the one's I've seen you guys running. Can you tell me if they are for real?? Regardless I have a nice set of wide steels for my mk1 now > I'd just like to verify what they are. BTW > I'm not getting the Advan's > I'm using 175/50-13 Sumitomos.

(also check the offsets... the 13X8s are et15 and I've never seen that offset on Wellers)

Well they aren't 'widened' persay but are 'wide'. They haven't been stretched in any way or rebarreled as far as I can tell. The links I've found lead me to believe you could get them in a number of different widths/sizes.

Generous offsets,ideal for your purpose - they'll sit much further in than wellers but still clear the insides.

Wrap 'em in 175x50s and you're laughing - albeit at high revs lol

I find it funny cause I've been searching for similar wheels for over a year and BAM!! 2 nearly identical sets. And by the looks of it... Mattig's are made by Weller.
