erm.. petrol on a rag and a wash after, theres loadsa' other ways in the search function but this is how i usually doo mine

either leave it TOTALLY dry and use a hairdryer, or use bug n tar remover and spend ages rubbing it.

bug n tar remover is useless, i tried it and gave up. Found meths so much better and cheaper!

I DONE MINE WITH PAINT THINERS, IT WORKD A TREAT AN IT WAS CHEAP, JUST MAKE SURE U WASH IT OF AFTER :-D

phone top up card or similar, petrol, and some time..... I took my bump strips off using hot water and was careful to do it a very small bit at a time and pulling gently. First time i took some off i just slap dashed it and ragged them off. Took me soooooo long to get the rest of the sticky crap off. That wheel thing mentioned ^^ looks good fun though...give that a whirl if you have a lot of the stuff left on.

They're called " Toffee Wheels" in the trade.

I dont think the petrol would harm the paint, but i rinsed it off every couple of minutes just incase! Works a treat though with a credit card.

pour boiling water over it for a while then it literally pulls off in seconds in long strips. unfortunately i only discovered this after trying to scrape it off with a knife which fucked it a bit.

I usually call them caramel wheels but toffee wheel will do :p

lemon juice! or you can buy it in a spray form, adesive removal spray. loosens all the sticky residue stuff off and wipes off with ease! worked a treat on my xr3i.

nail polish remover and bank card. wish id tried the lemon juice one sounds good.

toffee wheel is the way forward, about £5.50 from wurth iirc, you'll have it done in no time.

after the adhesive shit's taken off, will the colour actually match the car? or will it be brighter/faded at all?
