Evening everyone, i am looking at new tyres, and am wondering if a 195 will be o.k on a 6J rim or if it is too wide?

Was only a quickie, any help will be much appreciated, thanks in advance

I take it your just going for the standard size//look,

maybe a 175 or 185 will be fine.

Yeah,185s are flat sided on a 6in,you'll only want 195s if you nudge kerbs regularly..

195s look too beefy on a 6" rim, I've got 175/50s on my Pslots and they look spot on. not stretched, but a slight curve in the side wall.

I have 6J solitudes, which VW saw fit to put 195/45's on as standard. TBH, I don't think they look too wide.

I had 195/45 on my P-slots years ago and they looked top.
