GHrab a bit of wood cut it and carpet / paint it .. Pretty simple really .. use the shape of ure boot carpet and the some measurements ... Try and put some foamy stuff underneath and around the edges to stop it from rattling .. I need to finnish building mine ..

I would build a box t o sit it in yes . This will cut vibrations . Its real annoying when you spend hundreds on a decent sub and then it Vibrates . Build a box that is secured around the well and secure the speaker into this and build the false floor around that . Personally i would cover the speaker with something however as i have had some problems with thieves due to having speakers on show and will neve go through that mistake again.

Seen people re-inforce the spare wheel well with plenty of fibreglass to strengthen it, attach top piece of wood, make it air tight, cut hole out, insert sub.

Not quite sure how much it rattled tho tbh.
