Cd player blank???

Hi all, a while back i had my cd player stolen and i dont want another steeling so I'm going to forget all audio equiptment...

so what I'm planning is to make a blank where the cd player was and put some dials in there, has anyone already done this, or anyone got pics of it?

Iv just made a wooden blank so i can put gauges in, thanks or the offer anyway, I've sin them pockets before but i want to put gauges in it,
