rear strut brace

Featured Replies

I got a rear strut brace at the polo show its meant to go across the top of the struts, but I thought it would do more work bolted to the chassis??? My mate with a vr6 golf says he was told to by a garage that knew it's stuff. Is this a good idea? I was gonna bend the L brackets to hug the sides kinda... I might take a photo.....

Tis a tad dark at the mo, and in london with work til thursday buuuuuut:

I mean not bolting on top using the nyloc bolts but bolting it to the chassis?? anyone get???!

Yes, it works better if it's attached to the suspension turrets rather than the ends of the shocks.

Ok cool looks like I'll get that done then, does it need to pull them together or just be bolted on tight?
