Really need your lots help to supply a decent wiring diagram or where to locate a decent wiring diagram for the G40 loom & 1.0ltr Fox loom.

Haynes manual version is a schematic diagram NOT a full wiring diagram.

the whole wiring diagram. we've got the ecu pinouts and haynes schematics....

Some of the diagrams miss wires, some just disappear & there's no comparison for what what we want to do.

What we need to know....is an 93 1ltr Fox have the same fuel pump wiring & ignition set up as a 91 G40? i.e using a G40 dash & engine loom & coupling up to 1ltr interior/rear end loom

Hence we could compare 2 wiring diagrams & actually compare against the car to ensure the car hasn't been tampered with in it's past

I'm pretty sure it will work like that. but someone will have done a conversion the same as or similar to what you are doing.

the only difference in in-car looms I'm aware of is something to do with the clocks?! (oil buzzer sounding when using old clocks in new car is it?!)

tampered with? its fairly easy to follow the loom from the back of the fuse box to the dash, and also from back of fuse box to rear fuel pumps etc.

only thing i can think of saying to you is that youl have to modify the fuel pump plug under the back of the car, as the 1litres and gt/g40 use slightly different connectors to plug into the correct fuel pumps

as far as i know internal looms are the same in all mk3 polos apart from

rear wash wipe missing on saloon ones

cig lighter missing on some basic spec (although this is a plug in addition to the loom)

some late spec only have one oil buzzer

plugs on the fuel pumps sometimes differ

otherwise its just the engine loom different i think
