...TUV approval is all good and well, but it doesnt test the companies quality control, and as I'm experiencing with the raceland manifolds at the moment, they are prooving not to be the greatest quality. God bless the chinese.

Kam racing - Surely you should test them yourself if you unsure on whether you should be selling them or not!?

We would have if we owned a mk4 polo. It is imposible to have every car to test products on...

I'm running raceland coilovers now! the people who said they dont lower very much are talking shit! they go low!!!! if I was on 13's I could properly deck it! and I've heard people say they're too soft!! they're stiff as fu"k almost too hard

these ap coilovers are really good value for the money mates got them on a4 estate good ride

they're cheap and go low, thats all i was after.

I would probably get PhilJ ones next as they are recommended a lot on here

there ok but stiff at first and now there getting softer and softer. getting scrub on my arches which i didnt get at all with the AP's that were on before.

Prob a stupid question but how do you make them lower / higher adjust them yourself, am looking to get some coilovers (duno what brand etc yet) how easy are they to fit. I currently have 15's and dont want my arches rubbing etc, whats the lowest i could go

you see the first pic in the thread mate, the spanner at the side of the coilovers (c spanner) is used to turn the big nut underneath the big red spring up and down

up for higher down for lower :)

Oh I've got you lol, any ideas on how low i could get some on 15 without scrubbing etc. How would i know after adjusting the springs that they will all be level once put on the car )prob another dumb question but i want to find out as much as i can before i buy some coilovers)

count the number of threads that you have left on the coils,

as for scrubbing 15's, its dependant on the width of the wheel, and how the wheel is offset.

check out the FAQ's for a fitting guide........

I'm with you there, i've got them on mine....they're pretty solid! And they go low, I've got about 3inches between bumper and floor, and I've got another inch and a half to go on the coils....and thats on standard wheels! :p

are you sure that they actually get softer mate? because they will settle a lot at first which would cause the rubbing, does the ride really get softer? I cant stand them at the moment its bouncing all over the place! not good!

I got a set of secondhand set of kw v1s after having these I would never buy cheap.
