I'm looking for some seat ideas for a mk4. I know polo mk5 and golf mk3 seats will fit, are there any other seats (preferably half leather) that would also fit without too much trouble?

As above. Also there is the standard 16v seats thay are half leather.

With stuff like this its all about the right place at the right time. My mate just stuffed his cupra and was looking to sell the interior for it. It was mint so i think he wanted £500 for it. I think he has just sold the whole car now though. Your best bet is to ring around breakers yards and look on ebay iv seen a few sets on there.

Theres some full leather vr6 interiors on ebay but I really like the cupra ones, I might just save the money up for the cupra seats and wait until I find one lol.

Dont just rely on ebay though coz other people will be doing that too. Ring around some scrappys.

I really like the new Peug 106Gti half leather seats ..

I am counting on finding some of them for my Mk3 when the time is right ..

Probabbly wont be easy to fit but oh well itl be worth it ..

I have some sliding and tilting subframes for a mk3 which would allow you to fit almost any seat into the car without major problems.

Using fixed ally ones now so for the right money I'd sell tilt and sliding ones...

^^^^ agreed the 106 GTi half leather seats are some of the best looking i've seen. Also the most comfy......pure sex in seats to be honest. My friends 306 GTi 6 has the same seats but not sure if they bigger or not. Not my choice of car but the seats are spot on.

Other than that look for some recaros and/or keep checking edition38 some good stuff turns up on there sometimes!!

There the ones matey .. Little bit diffrent .. dont htink there from a 106 .. mostly because there is no 106 cant say i know the Peagout line at all .. There is one in the carpark at work anywhoo.

It is a black one so the central non leather bit is different to that .. Its a darker material with small gripy dots on it .. Dont know iff its form like a quicksilver gti model or something or not .. Il have to take a sniddy few snapps of the car tommorow and get cpl of piccys up ..

They are mighty similar to those however .. Look so much nicer in real life tbh .

I really shouldnt of opened my mouth should i .. haha will have a few people looking for them once they have had a glimps of them in real life !

I just took that from the first auto trader add i could find :-) They don't look how i remember my mates seats looking either but hey they give you the idea.....i have no idea about seats from the peagout cars either. Just my friends have a 106 gti and a 306 gti both with similar nice seats!!

I have some porsche, ruffled black leather porsche seats from a 996 in mint condition. Were going to go in a VW pickup but are going up for sale this evening due to buying too much other jazz for my Mk2 polo.

Pretty sad i have to sell em though....look so nice and i drove from Leeds to Surrey to get them. Nice 8 hour journey!!

Worth it if i could afford to keep em!!

Very similar to this but i think these are slighly different being from a Turbo model. The ones i have are the same design, same pattern and same colour. The only difference being is that mine do not heve the porsche crest on the headrest.

I can't afford to keep them though

Would they be hard to fit into a mk4? and how much?

i have been told that they are relatively easy to fit due to them being not too wide and having a flat seat base.... i am no expert due to me never fitting them but i bought them for either a VW caddy pick up (same as felicia pickup, very similar to mk4 shape, width etc.) or put them in a lupo. Told on club lupo they will fit, so must fit a mk4? Will prob take a bit of buggering about but anything worth doing to a car usually does. Put it this way i bought them without knowing if they would fit or not, i had to drive to surrey to get them. I set off stupid am in the morning to get them. When i got home i slept for an hour and then drove to carlisle to sell a mk4 polo. Good day.....so tired. Will be taking pics of them laters as i need to get rid as i am poorer than poor.

Always wanted porsche seats. Ever since i met a girl who had a Mk1 golf with a full red leather porsche interior.

The guy i bought these seats off had two porsche turbos on his drive!! Old one and a new one. Old one was amazing.

Asked him to take my hand in marraige he declined so i just bought his seats!!

Not sure what they worth really??

seat ibiza mk2 (i think its 95-99) and seat cordoba from the same shape go straight in. I've go the ones out of the cordoba cos they dont have the "GTI 16v" crap written on them.
