does anybody know roughly i should be paying to get all 4 of them taken out at a garuge? they are just the standard vw locking nuts on a mk4 polo

depends what sort of mood the people working at the garage are in! It'll probably only take them 5-10 mins to hammer on sockets and gun them off but they might insist on charging an hours labour? Who knows....

do you mean 10-15 per wheels or for them all?

for all of them! I assume they are those 3-pin jobbies? Very easy to remove by hammering on sockets if you've got an impact gun to hand.

yea those are the ones, om not realy bothered if they damage the wheels when taking them off because i got my new wheels today

use a hammer and punch, its worked for me!

get an old socket and hammer it on so its nice and tight. Use a breaker bar, should get them off

if you can get to a welder welled a socket extenision to the locking wheel nut then connect up the socket and hey presto you have it off

Mr Irwin make a great extraction tool......that'll do the job no sweat!!!

A tyre fitting place is always geared up for this situation, they won't bat an eyelid.....if they are any good

i called my local tyre fitter and they said they havnt got anything to extract them ???? wil just need to phone around i think

this happened to me on wednesday so we welded an old wheel nut to the locking ones then loosesened them off that way!

go into your dealer, they might have some knocking around. We have a draw full of the old 3 pin ones had to take a set off for a bloke today.
