what kinda alterations? sorry for all the questions. =]

if you look on uk-polos.net and in the faq bit theres a guide,,,,its for fitting newer mk5 lights to the older mk4 so youll have to reverse but i know that mk4 lights on a mk5 sit too far into the bodywork by about half an inch which cant be avoided..hope this helps a little.
