Rear beam MK3 Coupe

Featured Replies

Right, i hope you know what I'm getting at.

The ream beam on a MK3 coupe doesnt sit centrally on my coupe, as doesnt quite a few other members MK3 coupes.

Someone here mentioned you can undo it and move it over on notches so itll sit more in the middle.

Can it be done without removing the rear brake lines as I've just replaced them and really dont want to have to bleed

the system all over again.

If anyone knows, I'm sure many members with be gratefull...

Mine deosn't sit centrally on my loon, I thought it might just be to do with the bushes being on their way out?

the barackets that hold the axel to the car are all weird shapes, way bigger than the bolts. if you slacken them off you can shift the axel about under the car but i doubt you will ever get it spot on. I've got nylon bushes in mine and it didnt seam to change the geometry.
