Em, i already pm'ed you regarding the mounts i have...and i also have a gti subframe which has already been seam welded for strength...the lupo gti one is identical but just has two exhaust hangers on it.

using a front crossmember won't work, as really the corrado's and golf's use them and you'd need to chop about 4-5inches off it to make it bolt up.

I have a polo mk7 sport drivers mount which is VERY expensive at vw and possibly very difficult to find in a breakers due to the age of the car...i can do it cheaper than vw.

I also have the rear dog bone mount but mine has a powerflex bush installed already to go! you would need a bracket making for it to fit onto the subframe, but thats something you need to do anyway.

The gearbox mount would be half a 16v polo mount and bottom half would be a golf one...

your best off using the golf mk3 2ltr 16v box not O2J (golf mk4) as the wheels on the golf are smaller and you'll get less wheel spin in 1st, 2nd and 3rd...if you wanna go fast then your best off having the box rebuilt so it has a VR6 1st, 2nd, 4th, 5th and reverse gears i believe it is...should top you out at about 168mph depending on the engine.

you'll also need to have a custom downpipe making, and i reccomend you go for a 3" downpipe into a 2.5" all the way to the rear with a sport cat...

all piping would have to be custom and a VR6 radiator with slimline fans works and fits a treat on the mk4 polo slam panel.

Wiring loom could be off the shelf from Qpeng engineering at a rough cost of about £800+ depending if you want the TT clocks to work too.

But they'll re-map the ecu to the highest and safest setting depending on the turbo and also bypass the immobilisor problem too.

a cossie 4x4 intercooler fits perfect up front and has big enough intakes to match the throttle body size on the engine...

you may have to re-locate the oil filter using a filter relocation kit whereby you use a sandwich plate from mocal.

other things...

the box you pick may either be hydraulic clutch actuation or not...you decide which and i'll see if i know the answer...

the accelerator pedal needs to be fitted to your pedal box as the engine you have will most likely be fly by wire (non cable throttle)- uses a sensor on the pedal and a sensor on the throttle body to accellerate- YOU could possibly use a lupo gti or polo gti pedal box and have QPENG or whoever just re- solder the wires to match the rest of the wiring so the two talk to each other...

fuel pump- i'd go a walbro (scooby WRX) one but a 2ltr 16v or VR6 pump will be more than adeqaute to cope and will be a straight fit.

Brakes- you want BIG up front, rear brakes are less important as they only do 10% of the braking but a set of G60 280mm front discs and 239mm gti rears will do the job nicely.

I'm sadly not joking about the renault scoop on mine :( , But yes I would never dream of sticking big stripes on it or go down the same route of styling as yours has but fair play on the 20VT
