Rear Arch Trims?

Featured Replies

hello all. I've removed the arch extensions from my mk3 GT and have been left with some holes on the front edge of the rear arches. I've seen a couple of cars on here wearing what look like covers that go over these holes. my question is what are these for, how much are they and where can i get myself a pair from?

cheers

Dave

There just the trims off a lesser model. Are you selling your GT archs?

i see. ill have to have a loo around for a set. hadnt really thought about selling them but why not. not like I'm gonna be using them again. you interested?

If you jus want to tidy it up for the time being you can use any mk3 arch spats. However, if they come off a car with bump strips from factory they will have an indentation for this. Cars that come without bump strips got the 'smooth' arch spats. Generally the really really base models ones.

I heard that VW still stock them and that they are around £5 each.

You have PM.

hello mate, try looking at South Lowestoft industrial estate on the srapyard there, there were a couple of mk3's in there last time i went, see about pulling them off them. plus they are good with there prices.

went down at weekend and nabbed the front splitter of a mk2 golf cl they had in there. no mk3 polo's though. just noticed you from yarmouth. you ever down the front on a sunday night?

You want 'fox' arch spats iirc.
