Hi guys, bought a set of ta technix not long back, i'm not sure if the sound has been there since they were fitted but I dont think so. The front left & maybe front right struts make a strange noise when I go over bumps, the noise is most noticable reversing down my drive over tiny imperfections in the road. I can only describe the sound as a muffled deep sound as if someone is knocking an object against a wall underwater....or like the springs are slipping.. or something to that effect. I haven't noticed any difference in handling but i'm a bit worried I may have damaged the suspension as I went home not long ago & to say the least my driveway is a dirt track, is this normal for aftermarket coilovers & i'm reading too much into it?

I also had the kit fitted by a VW mechanic who had never fitted coilies before, he changed the top mounts...could he have set the suspension up wrong?

I know its a bit vague but anyone got any clues?

such an arse! don't get me started on the noises from the engine, when i put that key thing in the hole next to the steering wheel all kind of bad shit happens!
