suspension..

Featured Replies

Hey folks,

I've recently bought myself a mk5 polo 1.4tdi

looking at suspension I'm thinking of getting a spring and shock kit rather than coilovers leaving me more money for wheels etc.. wondering how low is safe to go at the front?

as it is a diesel the front is a bit heavier than usual, would 80 at the front be too low, am I safer getting 60? currently fitted with 15" volkswagen alloys and the new wheels will also be 15"

Hoping to get this ordered today so any help/suggestions would be great.

Thanks,

Lyndsey

Hey Lyndsey...

I have a MK 5 polo with 80 on the front and back (philj's kit) its find for bumps and everything... I can even do BIG bumps... You'll be suprised and prob wanna go lower... It looks more like a 60 when its fininshed!!!

Anyway you will have no problems... here is a pic of mine on 80.. These pics were before my new splitter so thats the standard splitter... Hope this helps
