Is it really true that mk3 don't have courtesy light switches on the passenger door? That's ridiculous..

I know mine doesn't, but I assumed it got broke in the past and removed.

There is a hole for it if i'm not mistaken - perhaps a mk2 switch would fit?

I presume there's also no wiring for it in place?

They also forgot the glovebox and centre console on my car - that's the spanish for you, sigh.

As in glovebox lid? Lol... i have one of those too! What else do you need? I have a whole car sat here ready to break, apart from the engine, gearbox, and associated loom etc, and seats.

IF your missing bits i could maybe fill a big plastic tub and post it?!

ha ha. but i've just put a red filter in the courtesy light - i want to be sure passengers see it!

Drivers side switch will fit. The wiring may already be there for the courtrsy light.

Many pre 1990 switches will fit

Passenger side courtesy lights were reserved for the high spec models. Foxes, Genesis's and Boulevards wont have one , for example.

GT/G40 don't generally have any more interior bits other than rev counter and bolstered seats, do they?

Hard question to answer! Up until the introduction of the Genesis, the CL would have been the highest spec you could get, without being 'sporty'. But the Genesis knocks it off top spot in a way, having many things fitted as standard which would have been a costly option on a CL. The Genesis shared many economies with the Fox, having no glove box lid, no passenger door light and no cigar lighter.
