Ordering compomotive TH lines. 8x16 for my new polo gti (9n3)

need some tyres for them..

what tyres will give me some stretch and perform well under all conditions?

what width do i need?

They would be th mono's if they are from compomotive. I've got a set.

In fact as far as I was aware they dont have anymore sets in 5x100 et25 8x16 left, i got the last ones. That was in june though so they may have made more.

As far as a straetch goes depends what you want. I got 205/40/16 Avon ZZ3 and they dont really stretch much but their grip level is very good.

You could go for a 195/40/16 toyo or the like which are aparently very good in the wet and dry (T1R).

Have a search in the pictures gallery for pidges mk6 (a thread by del) thats got shots of my wheels so you can see what a 205/40 looks like on an 8.

I'm running dunlop sp9000 195/40/16 on 8's at the back. Top marks for road holding in the dry/wet, gives a decent stretch on the 8's but nothing "CrazY". Wish i had gone for more stretch now! Dam!

compomotive are making more yeh but its 21-28days for delivery. 522 pound.
