The idea I had was to use one relay and not two to try and save on wireing and connetors and so on but my major falt on my design means that this is as much use as a chocolate fireguard.

the headlamps are wired in parallel so one will be brighter than the other. You also don't have a fuse!

You also have no means of switching the things on or off.

Ok no fuse ither but the main falt is that you cant turn the f**king lights off at all like what robb pointed out :lol::lol:

Just say its the Sweedish spec version.

isnt it when wired in series the lamps will become progressively dim, the more lamps you add? i.e. lamp 1 will be bright, lamp 2 less bright and so on? and not parallel?

Sort of, but all the lamps will get dimmer as you keep adding lamps in series - all lamps will be the same brightness. But yeah in parallel both lamps will be as bright as if there was only one lamp connected.

The only way one would be brighter than the other in parallel would be if you had a stupidly long/thin wire going to one which would act as a resistor making one dimmer. But a Polo isn't that big!
