You're putting 8ins on the front? Et 15-20 with seriously stretched 175x50s are probably the only option to keep it legal, unless you're doing archwork.

Not such a problem on the back if its a coupe,et 10-15 with 195x45s should sit tidy.

If its a breadvan, same as front.

Id suggest 7x13s all round,et25 front,et 15 rear on coupe or same as front on breadvan, with 175x50 all round.

But thats me.

those will be et-1 and yes they will fit but expect about 1.5-2 inches sticking out of the wheel arch!!

i have 8's allround on my mk1 and have had to have extensive arch work doen and they still stick out past the arches! lol

8s on the front are two wide imo. Unless you do arch work, look the part on your mk1 rod stylz.

cheers my man!

Lol, I was the guy who told you that you should enter your car into the show and shine at Polo Show, when you first came in.

ah thought that might be you lol!

didnt win owt, but had plenty of really good feedback on the car so i was most happy!

nice one but I'm only putting 8"s on the back so will this be ok the offset is 0 i jst found out.
