need help

when turning the steering wheel i get a light cluncking which i can feel through the wheel as if a bearing has gone or a bush in the uj, has anyone had this problem before.

Wanna have a look, but wheel has got an airbag, can i remove it by undoing the 2 bolts on the back of the steering wheel

Check your wishbones. I've found a steering knock twice. Once when the balljoint went and once when the bolt joining it to the sub-frame was slightly loose.

You can try jacking up the car and grabbing the wheel with your hands at a 1 and 7 oclock angle and try and move it.

yes you can do this, but there are other steps - you have to disconnect power. it's described in the haynes manual if you can get access to one?
