standard wheel bolts with alloys

i got my alloys the other day from this forum but it looks as if 2 bolts have gone missing in the post.

can i use 2 of my standard bolts?

For the time being it would be okay but make sure you check them regularly to make sure there not coming lose. But try and get some proper bolts fairly sharpish. Obviously don't put both the normal bolts in one wheel, on per wheel would be better!

just run 3 bolts per wheel, it will be perfectly safe. using a std bolt could damage the wheels

you can get em from vw

Depends - if they're VW alloys,they use the same bolts. Check the taper of the seat,and measure the seat to the hub face. Should be the same.

If they're aftermarket wheels,the taper of the seat may be different,and you will need the correct bolts - if you're only missing four,it might be worth paying an extra tenner for a locking set.

I've got the wheels on now but i lost the clips to put one of the center plates on, does anyone know where i can get one or anything i can use instead.

Would help if you said what alloys they were.
