Classics on a Mk3 Coupe.

Featured Replies

Going down the usual route of 13" Classics on a Mk3 Coupe. I need some figures.

Probably looking at 7's (et20) on the front, 8's (et00) on the back, as you do.

Was looking at an 80mm coilover kit, want a really good drop. What issues will this arouse concerning the offets, arches etc.. and what tyres (obviosly stretched) will be the best option.

I know alot of you can speak from personnal experience so any adivce and figures would be shweet, just so I've got a reference for when i come to buy stuff.

Cheers star.

Has anyone fitted 8's to the front? or would that be too hefty?

ring up rim style there pretty clued up there,

just fitted some to my mk4

you will need arches rolled to the max with an 80mm drop.

i would go with 175 50s

i dont think 8s would fit too well unless you could get some with a higher offset of 10.

i have some 8s et 12 and they JUST go under, with streched tires and no arch lips at all

Hmm.. might have to get the arches done.

I need to PM some people that have exactly the setup i want, and see what they've had done etc..
