Featured Replies

Right! decided I've gone through so much hassel tring to find hub converters and such to fitt silly wheels (PUG GTI 1.9 and 1.6 and rover 25 steelies)

I'm an idiot i know, but I'm fresh from being bitten by the vw bug and just need a little helping hand....

so I'm going to the scrappy/ breakers on sat to finally get what i need.

I'm looking for summit in eaither a 195 or 185 so i can put some 195 lower profile tres on them.

my mk2 polo has just been dropped 40mm and looks good .... so can some one please enlighten me what i should look for!?!?!

i was thinking passat steals but not sure there in 4 stud but any way.... I'm really not botherd cause I'm gonna paint what ever i get black

any suggestions welcome...

Vauxhall wheels will fit but more than likely need to be spaced out.

A low profile 195 will probably want a 6" to 7.5" wide rim unless you want stretch.

What diameter do you want?

14x6 steels as fitted to some Mk2 Golfs will be ideal.

Don't know of any standard steels that are wider than that though. Weller/Mattig aftermarket steels can be up to 13" wide though

dont reallly care what width really, just depends if they fit and what I'm likley find at the breakers...

any more ideas??
