if they are still available, get the mk2/3 door speaker pods and bung some components in them and amp them.

jl audio used to do some replacement dash speakers and they sound great when used with a sub. if you are plan ning to use a sub then there really no need for wacking big door speakers unless you have endless amounts of money to waste on £160 door pods that audioscape make, how ever if you dont want a sub then they do make a lot of sense, esp with a pair of amped up (instead of running off headunit) components fitted

A set of 3.5" Infinity mids will be a good idea, along with 6x4s in the rear, if you don't need mega bass.

Badass speaker .

I got 3.5'' Boston Accoustics up front....6.5'' Alpine midbass on shefl (hidden) and 8'' Elemental Design sub!

Bit of thud!!! but not rattling the car!!!

Nice!

I have JBL 4" in the front (direct replacment but needs a tad bit of cutting)

JBL 4x6 in the back (direct fit)

And an alpine swd-1600 in the boot! Nice little tuner sub.
