Seems to be a CD storage replacement for the compartment in front of the gear knob. Never seen one of these before just came across it on Auto trader.

Anyone know where I could buy one?

That looks to me more like a casette holder. The width isn't big enough for CDs :p

Cavaliers are fitted with such devices, I've never seen one in a polo though! Maybe it was a tidy modification :)

I saw one for sale on Edition 38, I'll try and find out what its called, they come up on ebay sometimes. From what I remember they do hold cd's

Its called a fischer cd holder, they're quite rare apparently.

Ficher (or Fischer) is the make iirc

they were avaliable for a lot of the VAG models

CD holders are very very rare but the cassette ones seem to be more common
