is it possible? i want 14s on the ibiza, but the front discs are 256mm

My Lupo is 256mm and came on 14s

I'm on 14's too. Both alloys and steels fit fine.

I'm on 13's over the 256

If thats the game we are playing I also have 13s that will take 256mm setup.

I just trial fiitted my 256's today...haven't had a chance to try them with the 14's...tight under a set of 13's but looking promising for the 14" BBS RA.

Tav, I've had 256mm under 14" RAs and they fit fine, loads of room in fact. :)

There should be loads! I could get my little finger between the caliper and the wheel IIRC.

Make won't matter for 14s. As long as you're not running crazy offset anyway. But then if you're running crazy offset you could have a set of 17s on there and they'd rub.

Do you have the Audi calipers as well Alex? If so what sort of pads do you look out for? Hoping getting the right shape performance pad shouldn't be too difficult. They are a fair set of disks to see on a Polo, uber excited about them!

I have Pagid pads on mine, and Zimmermann cross-drilled discs at the moment. I'm not sure if I'll go back to standard discs though when I change next time, I'm not convinced by the fancy ones. That, plus Motul RBF600, braided brake lines and all new drum components should see you reet.

I really cane my brakes when I drive, I actually like the feeling of stopping as much as I do the feeling of acceleration.

I have some drilled and grooved disks. No idea what company they are from, but they are like new. So I think I'll keep them on...shame to waste them. Going to replace the pads though just to be sure they are a quality brand.
