LOL thats quality, I've started re-routing myself now just to avoid bumps LOL

Had the same problems again today haha. That's what you get for being down all the way with 13's on haha.

I also had this problem!!!

round my mum and dads decided to go a chippy I've not been to in ages, stupid road had about 10 bloody speed bumps and no matter however i went over them..... scrape, scrape.......... scrape, scrape..........scrape, scrape............scrape, scrape.............. stupid dam things sfiafoiaerwfih arrgghhh!

The one at No Rice is bad, is there any way of getting past them? My car is not exactly slammed compared to most and even I get a massive THUD!

I too hate these things. The first time i saw one i was like "meh, thats tiny" then....BANG! Sounded like a door fell off. I think it bent my exhaust bracket too (side exit. So i used to try getting as far over to the left as possible so the exhaust didnt hit, but i still got a nice scccccrape from the drivers side. I was down 80mm then.

Now i have HnR Cup Kit and things are slightly less painful. Still try getting as far over as poss and theres now no scraping from the drivers side...

Just had a new one installed at work. There was one at one end of the main access road but it's not too bad, if I go really slowly over it I just drag the splitter and exhaust over it, but this new one is insane. I slowed down to literally nothing to go over it and got wedged, so reversed back and tried it at an angle and got over, but everything under your car scraping is not a good noise.

Going to be stupid when I get lower profile tyres, I might as well leave my car at the security gate.

theres some nasty ones as you come out of the oracle car park in Reading, evil evil!!

I'm dreading driving the new car now .. Eeeek

GOing down 80mm at least :?

I'm alright with most kerbs, my one at work was a little higher than normal though so scraped the spare wheel well....

it all adds to the fun(and annoys the hell out of the person behind you as they get annoyed at you going so slooooow!

there on every fukkin road.have 2 crawl over the fuckers.what pisses me off is it doesnt slow anyone else down.lol

and these are the small ones, gets a lot worse than that, especially when it rains and cant see where all the big parts are..............major scrapage

i have to drive down a few roads like that i just keep one tyre close as grass as possible if not on it then other wheel in middle lol the yellow and black bumps are not much of a problem for me no more :)

anyone hear me scrape at no-rice yesterday ? aaaaaaaaaaaaaaah that was PAINFUL! i didnt hear anyone else scrape that bad :(

Foxie how do you manage speed bumps at all?

Your car looks ALOT lower than mine and I'm down a fair wack!

I can take really shallow long speed bumps but even then the rear beam scrapes up it (took a chunk out of one in aberdeen doing it.)

Tried once to get over a shallow looking black and yellow thing and just got stuck!

Is there a special nak to taking speed bumps in a deck 6n?

LOL yeas there is a nack to it............keep your fingers crossed and go hell for leather haha LOL

i fookin hate bumps with a passion now

that car or plate is properly set up for a abd conversion lol

got the bottom of my car a couple of days back, sounded really really painful, worst one I've hit ever.

What would it have hit?

Sainsbury's Castle Vale have now replaced their yellow/black speed humps with normal ones. but they're about 3 feet high.

i should get a pic of the speedramp outside my local shop! That really is 3ft high!
