If your on a budget try a jbl 1201.1...1100 rms, its actually probably more like 700-900rms but for the price you cant go wrong.. if you dont mind second hand get on talkaudio.co.uk.... either way you want an amp that can put out an honest 1500 rms or so at whatever ohms your sub is wired to.... you may want to consider adding another battery to reach the amps potential regardless of what amp it is.. and upgrade your wires to 0 guage (including the big 3)..... hope that helps.

is yours the Dual 2 or 4ohm ?

its a duel 2 ohm

think the car audio stuff is too expensive but thanks for the idea probaly will be lookin second hand...

the jbl is an idea definatly good for the price...

and I've already got the wiring and install sorted just need the amp...

You should upgrade to 0 guage, ask foxie how he got his through.... at that price your best of going for the jbl amp i suggested or go 2nd hand on talkaudio.co.uk.... Is your box sealed or ported?

its sealed

ill get on the wiring then

i've seen legacy in the link, i wouldnt use legacy at all mate, i blew one of their amps in less than an hour

ah rite well wont be going for that one then :p lol

DONT USE THAT AMP.... I aint even seen it but i read LEGACY... bloody shit their amps are.... as for your box, i think for maximum output you should go for a ported box tuned to about 32hz... then you'll be laughing! Thats only if your boot allows it though... and amp wise stick with the jbl!

legacy = crap tbh! I had one it which apparently would put out 1200w rms. I doubt it could put half that out so i sold it! wouldn't even power one of my amps without getting too hot and cutting out.

Go with what the other guys have said and you'll soon be deaf!
