ok guys

I've got a 98 polo 1.4

my dad had a spare set of 15" fox alloys lying around but sadly wont fit (rubbing arches)

hoping to get alloys in the near but i am wondering how all you guys get 15" and 16" on your polos

and 15" 's were tyo big for mine????

So i dont buy alloys that wont fit what width am i looking at here cos 14" are just to small

Any help much appreciated.

tyre choice and offset are key. 15s should go on no probs with a set of 195/45s and an offset off around 38. there is a guide on offsets in the faq section so go read!

As above tyres and offsets are the key,

Iv got 15" on my polo 6n! I get rubbing issues on the rear but thats my own fault for going for a 7.5x15 with ET9! but i know about that, lol,

Trust us, 15" will fit!

i had 16's on my car.. lowered 40mm and it fit nice. shudnt really be having a problem.

Well there is somebody at college who has a 6n on 17s with some seriously low profile tyres, I think they are 215/35 or something like that.

Apparently doesn't scrub, and it's quite low. Looks shite though.

So yeh, 15s no problem :lol:

I've currently got 17's on mine with my coilovers.

Only problems I had was rubbing on the inside at the front on the suspension. They are 7.5 with et 45 though! Oh that and fat friends!!
