As title, need a pair of G40 calipers in good condition - I don't mind giving them a good clean if necessary. Don't need pads or discs unless you have some with low miles on.

Do I need the carriers if changing from a 1.3 Spi engined car ???

you dont NEED them, they are slightly stronger, but wheel dependant may give clearance issues

Go for 256mm if you can get a kit i did this on my golf mk1 and wow i used vauxhall calipers as there cheap and easy to get hold of but not too sure on the spacing of the wholes are they the same as a mk1 golf or a mk2 golf? but if your thininking of doin this you have to have at 15s or some 14s i know they fit under P- slots but only just by about 5-10mm Hope it helps.
