I'm 18 with a pass plus and 1 yrs no claims bonus. iv jus had a renewal quote through and they want £970!!! this is third party fire and theft with adrian flux, i was jus wondering if anybody can point me in the direction of a cheaper insurance company cos personally i think £970 is stupidly expensive!! thanks

thanks everyone for your help, iv tried asmiral and there best is £995.75! i find it really strange because my first car was a toyota starlet sr 1.3 16v and that only cost £1300 to insure with 0 no claims!! and with 1 yrs no claims for that their quoting me £780! thanks again

I'm 26, 2 years NCB, 2 fault claims, 3 points SP30 - paying £457 per year for fully comp on a 6n2 Match 1.4 8v. At this year's renewal time Bell was the cheapest for me by a long way (including legal and hire car cover), but Admiral price-matched and threw in the extras for only £5 more so I'm staying with them for another year.
