Yeah, picked up a complete rear beam from a GTI for £85!

Stripped and fitted in a weekend! probably the best bargain I have ever bought for the Polo!

How do you set it up or is non required? ! Brake balance already fine ?:S Sounds goood!

Not much setup required really, The balance can be fine tuned by tightening or slackening the handbrake cable!

Good job  does suit the silver well !

the handbrake cables adjust the brake bias? ...I'm pretty sure you have got the wrong end of things there mate!

if you have ABS then it'll be ok as long as you have used the sensors otherwise the valve on the rear beam will need adjusting manually

oh and is it just me or is you are car lower in you are avatar?

It has ABS and yeah I did use the sensors that came with the GTI setup.

What I meant about the handbrake is after I fitted the brakes and went out for a test drive I braked hard and the back end stepped right out!

The handbrake cable was too tight and so the rear was braking too much, after slackening the cable it all balanced out and was fine.

As for my avatar 'Photoshop' lol, although I do have some coilovers on order!
