Featured Replies

Just bought it last week. I've fitted a small ariel, Painted the front and back badges black, and took of the polo badge. I also fitted new HT leads, Spark Plugs and Distributor. Its running brilliant. Over the next few months i will be fitting nice wheels and lowering it. And i also have to book it into a body shop to get the small patches of rust removed.

Anyway heres the pics of it so far.......

yeah mate it had a SE badge on the back, i also took that off.

Looks good so far. Such a perfect base for a car. All it needs is some rims, rear headrests, and maybe some lowering. If you could post some pics of your rust that would be good i have some too that i need removing wouldnt mind finding out how much it costs. Is the rust on the sills and around the door?

Oh and whoevers Audi that is in the pics tell him/her to remove those lexus lights they have just ruined a perfectly good car!!

you can see the rust round the side of the door in the 3rd pic (just removed the bump strips on the side of the car and i used some petrol to get the sticky stuff off, it just uncovered a wierd looking orange mark on the front door, but nowhere else :( . the rear headrests were removed by the person that had it before me, they had put some stupid seat covers on and binned the headrests :( , i am getting my mates seats out of his golf soon anyway. just need to phone my mate who works in a body shop to sort out my body work, and then i will look into buying wheels, coilovers etc.... :)
