hi all

i have an vw polo n reg 1996 1.6gl and the sterring shakes at low speeds and a litle at high speeds and i think i hear a knocking sound when going ova bumps and theres like a screaming sound when i full lock turn

can any body tell me what this is I've been told it might b my tracking and c.v joints but i aint got a clue also my car makes a screaming noise when i start it is it the starter motor or fuel pump please help as i dont kno much about cars still learning

turns to the right = trackings probably miles out!

Your other problem looks like it could be your CV joint but someone else will probably diagnose it 100% . if its noisy on right full lock, its the left one and vice versa.

Have you had the wheels balanced? That could be the cause of the wheel wobbling if not the CV joint.
