the black sender has a resistance reading across it but i'm not getting any reading on the gauge.

any idea's??

a fault at the clocks end maybe, mine is taking longer and longer to reach temprature according to the gauge. it only gets up to temprature after the 7miles drive to work, did yours start off this way?

You reckon its something i can fix, or is it best to just get new clocks?

The temp gauge ought to be easy to replace if you follow most of my clock dismantling instructions I've put down in another thread a couple weeks back - finding a new temp gauge itself is the problem, you may end up buying a set of clocks anyway.
