ask test_richie or 16vtej, as both have fitted TT seats into their mk4 polos

yes but neither of us have the rear seats Amit

I cant find anyone that knows how to do this, the general feeling seems to be that it won't work.

The only thing I've came up with is to either have no back seats or to get some other seats (that will fit) retrimmed in a similar style.

fuckkkkkk lmao

hmmm gonna have to try working this one out!!

Make them fit.

Then you'll get like 3 trillion scene points and EVERYONE will love you :D

i'm sure its do-able! youngprodigy's seems to have got some in his mk3 and i think a few people have got them in lupos before!

wont they be narrower hence y they fit lupos and mk3's? so i thik it will mean widening the seat so trhat will mean retrim anyway so i would get the mk3 golf rears that fit with very dew mods adn get them retrimmed personally

Nah, rip everything out of the back, with out breaking of course, and then carpet the rear.

Then it will be a lot more lightweight too!

Thats what I'm thinking of doing, although I want to think of something good to do with all the space lol.

You could kidnap the bloke who designed the tt rear seats and make him design some that will it in a mk4 polo :p

Put a roll cage in the seat's way?

I'm planning on doing this evenutually basiccaly the back seats are about 2-3 to narrow at each side.

so

a.retrim you are rear bench and sell the rear tt

b.make custom side cussions and wedge them down the side

c.strip the back out

I'm going for plan d :) its not on the list its a secret

erm

if i want leathers in the back what car will i be able to buy them from and get them to directly fit?

well with a bit of work?

MK3 Golf VR6 came with leather as an option I think.

mk3 golf vr6 leathers, buy you'd need to fiddle a bit with them too so make sure you still have the original polo rears

Right now does ne one have the VR6 Mark3 rears for sale!!!

need the leathers in the back looks odd without them

Its not rocket science!

take the mounting arms off the TT seats. then remove the rivets using an angle grinder.

then make you own custom bracket to attach to the TT mounting arm.

photos are a bit shoddy as I've a pants camera - but you get the picture! they look well kool becoz there not supposed to be there

for my rear side cards i used a stretch fabric - fibreglassed - and retrimmed in leather!

job done!!!!
