Right i posted about some kind of knocking on the front when turning.

I jacked the car up at the weekend and with the steering lock on, turned the wheel back and forth

to find nothing but when more pressure is applied i get a 'thunk' and i located it to the tube moves

in the shock body when at full length. Now i cant really try this with the weight of the car on the wheel.

I've just had the rears changed as they failed hugely and leaked everywhere, no i think the fronts need

replacing. The whole kit was only bought at the earliest April so its all only 6 months old.

What you guys think.

I know when I put my weitec kit on my old square one of the shocks needed a washer putting underneath it to hold it up because it didn't fit in the strut body properly. Wasn't idea and was a bit pikey, but it worked no problem.

I'm guessing if they are only 6mths old Phil will replace them as its not that long to have them on.

Other than that I can't really help you tbh!

its quite a regular thing for a washer or 2p needing to be dropped in the bottom of the strut.

How does the strut come out, i cant really see in situe?

You mean the shock? or the strut itself? Either way I'm confused cause I'd assume you'd know how to take both off anyway if you've replaced the kit!

No the previous owner replaced the whole kit, I've replaced the top mounts and rear shocks as my rears failed.
