if your going to going to be running a set of comps and a set of 6x9's

i'd say get a four channel amp. because you will be loading the amp down to 2 ohms if you connect 2 (4 ohm?) speakers to each channel but the power will be shared.

good point...

thanx

Are the powers quoted RMS?

If so you want to be looking for an amplifier with more power than the speakers. I'd be looking for a 4-channel, 7-800watt RMS amp. It's complicated to explain and I don't have the time atm, but someone will be along to explain soon.

I seriously doubt that the speakers are going to be 200/300Wrms apiece.

Your going to be looking for a 4 Channel amp look for one thats rated at 70-100Wrms X4

something like this:

Would help if you posted the make/full spec of the speakers. MAX ratings mean nowt tbth!

i have a 4ch RF T4004 amp and that ran my front comps and 6x9s with ease!
