Ok mate, I can answer all of these for you.

Non weld eyebrows are usually stuck on to the headlamp using sealant such as silkaflex or tigerseal

"Bump" means "Bring Up My Post" basically if someone wants their topic to jump to the top of the section of the forum, they'll simply post "bump" I find it a little annoying and it's not good practice to "bump" your topic.

Splitters are those little bits of plastic underneath the front bumper bar.

okay cheers mate now ill know whats going on in these forums! what does the splitter actually do?

cheerrs

Stops the metal of the car being scratched on bumps and if your car is VERY low then it protects your bumper against an ANT :)

It's just a cosmetic thing, doesn't have any real physical attributes.

Depends.. I would consider foxies, test_ritchies, 9olo's a paintwork saver

My understanding is that a splitter at the front has the same effect as a spoiler at the back... In practical terms, they add weight and so, slow your car down (cynical comment of the day!)

Get the car (assuming it's quick enough for aerodynamics to actually work(!)) to a track, and a splitter pulls the front of the car down.

Seen instances of drag racing guys using them to keep the front end on the tarmac. Same logic helps touring cars go round corners.

More useful than a spoiler on a front wheel drive though, surely?!

Further cheery thoughts are that as soon as the aerodynamics start to work, all that extra downforce is desperately trying to tear off your front bumper.

Can't tell you much more than that... Don't reckon one'd help my 1043 breadvan
