I threw one away last week. If you're wanting to play with some tuning, try one from a mk4 as the runners look longer/better.

just want it to breathe better as the standard throttle and inlet strangles it

I don't think the standard 1.3 manifold will be much help. The mk4 item has each runner going back to the plenum under the TB, whereas the mk3 item has very short runners coming together 100mm from the the head and a single runner going to the plenum. Plus the runner to cylinders 1&2 has a lump cast in to clear the throttle quadrant.

Or if you can, a Mark2 GK inlet maifold from the 1.3 75bhp they had on the continent. I've seen one advertised on the forum for £36 or so including shipping. Again, its a little freer flowing than the 1.3 SPi item.

I don't think the SPI unit will mount onto the GK manifold. This is why I mentioned the MK4 item as it's more like the GK one, but for the SPI.

bump

anyone got one?

1.3 SPI or MK2 GK

I have one in leeds, removed from the car and just waiting for you to collect. Anyone know what they're worth? £25 sound about right? Too much or too little?

usually i think they go for £10-15 in good nick

GT fetch more, but since i need a SPI, a GT won't fit

If you've got a throttle body to match the manifold. I'll take them both and collect :-D

I'm afraid you missed my ad for the throttle body! Manifold is fine tho mate, great condition as far as i know.
